While some of our psychologist friends would have us believe that narcissists are innocent and not accountable for their actions because of their “Nobel sickness,” God does not see it that way.
God views narcissists as humans, not as animals or machines. A lion that kills for survival acts according to its nature and is not judged. In contrast, a human who manipulates for sport violates their inherent nature and is held accountable.
No killer can plead, “Spare me judgment; my crimes were an addiction I couldn’t control.”
Free will is not a “get out of jail free” card; it serves as a receipt for every choice made. Addicts are responsible for the consequences of their actions. No charm, no excuse, and no display of victimhood can erase the ink on that receipt.
